I too, live in the Corpus area, and was looking to purchase a yorkie. It seems there are so few in the So. tx area, but i did find one, her name is ruth aguirre, and she was willing to hold a pup for me until i got back to tx (i am currently visiting my sister in Maryland). but i decided to wait until her next litter, in a year, since i know this year is going to be extremely tough (i graduate in the spring--college not high school
). Have not heard anything about her, but i did get her off the akc.org website. she was asking about 800 dollars for a pup and she has some available right now. if you go to akc website you can find her info...i hope this helps.
oh also if you go to ytca.org website there is a breeder there listed in the corpus area. sorry, but i did not contact this breeder
