Hey there! Have you tried pulling a little more hair into the barrette? Also, when I use barrettes on my girls, I pull their topknot up into a band first, then place the barrette either around the band or kind of wiggle it through the center of the band (where it wraps around a few times) to secure it. Let me know if this works for you!!
