My first yorkie, Spencer, was a trained birdie getter, or at least he thought he was!!! We'd get hundreds of black birds in our evergreen tree, and they would make an awful racket, so i trained him to bark at them to scare them away. Just had to say Spencer get the birdies, he'd go nuts...It was really funny. But no never had an indoor bird, so no help with that. Sorry!!
