Otis is the same way! Very calm, which I absolutely LOVE. He doesn't have that typical "small dog" hyperness. When he was a puppy, he never barked and rarely wanted to play. He just liked to be around mommy and go for walks and rides.

However, do you have a carpeted house or hardwood floor? I have hardwood floors here, but my boyfriend's house is carpeted, and Otis goes WILD there. I think that may make a difference as far as his toenails and traction. He begs to play fetch all the time at my boyfriend's house because he loves carpeting.

But again, Otis has never barked at my boyfriend's house... he may do one "YAP," but that's about it.
