Default Home cooking questions

Okay, I'm having a problem with Jake eating for the first time since I've had him. Most of the problem is due to separation anxiety, which I'm working on. He eats in the morning, but then he refuses to eat later in the day, and I think it's because I'm leaving at 4:00pm to go to work. He won't eat anymore after his morning meal and refuses food until after I get home, which is around 1:00am, and I feel that's way too long for him to go without eating. He isn't alone in the evenings, my hubby is there, but Jake is a big mommy's boy.

I have done a little home cooking for him, like scrambled eggs, boiled chicken, and boiled hamburger and, of course, he's much more enthusiastic about eating those things. He will also eat carrots and green beans. So, I really would like to start cooking more for him but want to make sure he gets the proper nutrition. He's almost 11 mos. old.

Can someone give me examples of what and how much you feed on a typical day? I just want him to eat!!!

TIA
