To be honest, I have never given the shots myself, yet but always make sure the vet only gives 1/2 the dose. I have heard many horror stories. I was told when researching Yorkies a long time ago that many smaller breeds have reactions to the full vile of various vaccinations and that half the "normal" vaccine is what should be given to our little babies. I was also told by a vet hospital that some vets give full vacine and they have had "emergency" visits with small breed puppies because of being over vaccinated and sometimes they even "just die". I am not vouching for the accuracy of what they said but I would not take any chances and always get my Yorkies only 1/2 the vaccine.
