Fashion Island was discussed as a separate issue, but I don't think it's appropriate for our first big meet-up (we're hoping for a great turnout), as that would be A LOT of little furbabies to be escorting in and out of stores. For this first time, we're going to a park, and then we can definitely discuss options for future meet-ups! It would be great if we could get a few different places that we could rotate between, so no 1 person is always stuck driving a far distance to get there.
And yes, Park Bench Cafe is in Huntington Beach. I haven't been there either, but I posted a thread in the regional forum about it because it is supposed to be the #1 most dog-friendly place that dog-friendly.com has EVER found. So...after reading the great write-up about it, I was anxious to see if anyone had gone there yet. Maybe we can do a future meet-up there! See if you can convince your friend to join YT! I'm sure all of us can sway her on the 9th!
