Oh, Villette, there is a frontage road between us and the highway, not much of a buffer I know but I don't think he went near the freeway. He might have been out by the frontage road. There is a lot of open-ness there and a bird of prey might have been able to catch him. I hope not. The frontage road only goes to our house, a neighbors house and a cell phone tower. It's not a thru road. It drops off at both ends so no one who doesn't have a reason to be back here had any business in our drive.
I just pray he's safe where ever he is. Sylvia
