If I can comb this out and deal with heat here in California I know you surely can too, lol!!!
If you use a good shampoo and conditioner it helps alot. Also the key is brush, brush and brush some more. I also use a detangler and leave in conditioner too.
I wish you the best with the coat, I know it takes work and sometimes I think about cutting his coat too. I just can't do it since its so soft and silky.
