Villette, I found this little pool at Petsmart. It's only about 3 feet across. Walmart didn't have one this small. Maggie will stand up on the outside of the pool, with her front legs dangling in. I have to help her in. Once in, she walks around, drinks, walks some more, drinks--this goes on and on until she cools off. She gets out on her own just fine.
I do empty it everyday. It probably hold 25 gallons. I am always concerned about mosquito larvae, algae and just plain yuck. We have well water, so the water is pretty cold. Each morning I dump out the old and fill with new. By the time she is ready for a swim, the water has warmed up.
It was only $6. Could even double as a "Rub A Dub Pup In A Tub".
Why can't Chanel have two sources of water? Kinda like a backyard water park.
