This post really concerns me. There is obviously a troubled little girl out there and I hope that you are able to protect your pup but also reach out to this little girl who probably has a lot to deal with if her parents are not together. I hope you are able to explain it to her in a compassionate way, firm yes, but she's only 8 years old and squashing bugs is not the worst thing she could be doing. I'm sorry, I feel sorry for your pup but also for her.
