I've only tried a mobile groomer once and had horrible results. She butchered my poor Tucker so bad that I had to take him to the vet to get stitches afterward. She also took the entire first layer of skin off of his little backside. I had heard great things about her but made the mistake of letting her groom him without my supervision. My lesson learned was never use a groomer for the first time without watching them. She is the reason why I still drive 45 minutes to take my boys to Pet Paradise (the best groomers ever

I'm sure that she is not representative of all mobile groomers and hopefully others on here have had good experiences. I would definately keep an eye on her for the first time though, good references are not enough.
