I have two, one boy and one girl. I think four would be my max. But not yet... I still have two labbies and I hope they stay around for awhile. My girl lab is 8 years old now, and we adopted her from a breeder with hip dysplasia. We've managed it really well, but when the time comes that she is suffering, I won't allow that to go on. she's too awesome of a dog to let suffer. Hopefully we have another 5 years before I have to worry about that. My boy lab is 4, and a big pain in the b....., but we adore him anyway....

Then there are the horses and chickens.....
