It was kinda funny actually I picked him up from the crowd of puppies and it was like he was glued to my hand and chest I never waivered in putting him down. He tried to get me to buy him at first talking about discounts because of his leg and all but I was so enraged and discusted that I was debating everything like a lawyer. I was like "How do you get off selling such an unhealthy puppy?!? Don't you have a heart? these puppies aren't cattle!! You want people to buy your sick puppies and then on top of that pay vet bills and if they die be out of money and broken hearted?! This is a scam!" I went on and on and nothing he said I didn't reply with an answer that left him looking shamed. He talked us to his door and eventually said "listen, I'll tell you what you take the puppy to the vet if he lives he's yours if he doesn't it's on you but it wont be my responsibilty once you leave with him ok? Don't come back with the vet bill, I don't pay vet bills, goodnight." I said ok and my husband and I walked to the car with Kiko still in my hands stunned at everything that had happened. Honestly he was very unorganized and it didn't phase him at all. In between our conversation he had admitted that he had his fair share of runts that had not lasted long in his care. He said "I get them in groups to save on the flight costs" (he told me this early in the conversation while he was still trying to sell him to me at a discount). Alot of the puppies that were their had a bad cough that I found out from the vet is kennel cough. I think he thought Kiko had that too because he really didn't seemed like he knew them all distinctively. So far Kiko has not shown any sign of kennel cough thank goodness. But I still worry I'm keeping a close watch on him. I still think about the other puppies every night before I go to bed, it haunts me. I wonder about the others not born yet that will be shipped to him. I dunno maybe I can find someone that can put some pressure on him to clean up his act or shut him down...I dunno.
