Greetings from the beach! I got the Wi-fi to work so I thought I would pop in and say hello. Just 2300 + messages to weed through since I last signed on! The weather has been beautiful. Gracie has decided that she loves the beach, but hates the waves. She got caught in a couple rolling in to shore and got drenched. So, in order for me to walk in the water, I now have to carry her. Too cute anyway. I have been dining on wine and crab, halibut and chips, and anything else yummy I can find. To heck with the diet, been walking alot anyway! This afternoon I just had to have some ice-cream. I go into this place and the lady asks if I want one scoop or two. Thinking I will be somewhat good, I order just one scoop, of peanut butter cup ice cream. Well, the scoop was about as big as Gracie's head. I took it to the car and thought what the heck, she gives me french kisses anyway. Gracie worked on one side, and I worked on the other. Gracie thought she died and went to heaven with that peanut butter ice cream. I so hope I don't regret this later! We went to a local pet store and they had some console car seats. Gracie loves to sit on the console next to me, so I splurged and got her one. Talk about one happy little girl! She is sound asleep right now, has not had a nap for two days. She is worn out.

I don't know if I will be able to share pics or not. I was running from a wave, trying to catch a pic of Gracie and the camera slipped out of my hand and into the water. I picked it up right away and took the battery and memory stick out. The camera acts like it is still working but my viewing screen is dead. I won't know till I get home if I can salvage any of the wonderful pics I took. I did have the camcorder with me and tried to get a few shots, but the sun was so bright I could not see the viewer so I have no idea what video I ended up with. Anyway, wish you were all here. We will head home tomorrow. I tried with all my might to find an excuse to stay over one more night, but there is a heat wave at home and I have 4 kitties who might be baked if I don't get back.
