I live in California and there was a law passed this year that the pups cannot go to their new homes until at least 8 weeks of age. She's the reason for that law Im sure. I agree w/ letting them go at 12 wks. We waited til 12 weeks to sell Mallee, but decided to keep her instead :-)
I worked at Pennysaver for 3 yrs too! I used to get the ads in the office on Mondays b4 everyone else. Couldn't help but to look at all the pet ads...haha. I still look at them! There's a lady in Littlerock, Ca..watch out for her! She's a puppymill! I looked up her ad and she had puppies advertising w/ us almost every week of the year! My friend went to look at her dogs too. She had two yorkie males for sale. One only had one testicle...hmmmm. My friend ended up buying both just to get them out of there. I helped her to re-place them in EXCELLENT homes. The puppymill lady had them in a small crate outside with a tarp over the cage...and it was cold that day! |
