We have traveled with Bebe from Balto to Florida and back and my vet does give me a sedative to give Bebe but he was very apprehensive. So we just gave him a quarter of the pill and it does slow everything down including his urgency to pee. Dont give them alot to drink or eat. be4 you leave and just little snacks and water. You must keep them hydrated. He was fine and does sleep most of the time. As stated above-IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE FLIGHT ATTENDENTS. Our trip home was wonderful-the flight attendent was a sweetheart and she asked if she could hold him as all the passengers left the plane. She had a furbaby too so that helps
