My advice would be not to let them hook up again. Ideally you want the dad to be smaller than mom, as the pups can get too big and mom ends up with a C-Section. She's a little on the small size too. You normally want them to be at least over 4.5 lbs.
If she is pregnant, you'll probably want to get x-rays before birth to make sure the pup is not to big to pass.

I know exactly what you mean when you wrote how fast it happened. Those little boogers are like lightening when they want something. So be sure to keep close track of her heat cycles and don't let them in the same room when she's in heat! Only a door or a fence will keep them apart....LOL! |
