I wouldn't worry too much about it. Sassy is 4-4 1/2 lbs and I bred her to a 2 1/2-3 lbs yorkie when she was 17 months (her 2nd heat). She had the easiest labor thank god. No problems at all. She had two pups. I've heard that the quantity of pups depends on how long/often they tied. How big was the male? Hopefully the male comes from a small generation so that the pups will be small enough for her to carry. The 9-12th day are the days to breed. If you want pups, I would have the vet look her over asap. Good luck to you! |
