I bought the Yorkshire Terrier Handbook, and thought it was a really good introduction to the breed! It helped my mom, too, who dogsits while I am at work. I also bought the dog whisperer book and the complete idiot's guide to dog tricks, both of which have been invaluable tools for me!

I went to Borders and found a pretty complete section on yorkies. I bought a cup of coffee and browsed through several books (don't feel guilty- I used to work there, and know that they encourage it... they make $$$ on coffee that way!) I also suggest the library, but my little town has such a dinky library that most of the books they have are out of date! I've heard Yorkies for Dummies is a really good one, too.

I agree though, that nothing has been more helpful than yorkie talk! It's like an organic pool of information!!! I love it!
