Maybe you could try to find a condo to rent. Someone who owns the condo and will accept animals. Have you looked in your local paper? I know how hard it is. Back when we were renting, it was sooo hard to find a place that would accept dogs, even tiny ones! It's extremely frustrating, and I think more places should be pet friendly.
