Go with your instincts for sure, but if you do change Vets. then let them know exactly why your leaving.
My Vet. is a specialist, and I just had one spayed a week ago and even had a radiograph and this was the list: 1 Ovariohysterectomy $150.00 and 1 Radiograph & interpretation $125.00. The total was only $275.00.
I would also ask your local animal shelter where the low cost spay and neuter clinic is.
