Those are the same people who ask your income, etc., etc., etc. I wrote the big check for Sophie years ago without hesitation.
I was offended at Lowe's yesterday when some ill mannered man looked at Charlie in the shopping cart and said "where did you get that dog, the shelter?". To which I replied, Charlie is a rescued dog. Chalk it up to bad manners and lucky he didn't have a bruise from me punching him in the mouth. Of course, I wouldn't do that and tend to look at them with a look that says "moron".
Personally, I have had more fun buying Charlie cute shirts, fleece coats, and variety of harnesses. Life is short, so enjoy your pups, dress them up and ignore other's comments. |
