 Is he big for his age?
Hi everyone - I am curious to know whether or not my little Deegan is big for his age or what. I brought him home last weekend, and took him to the vet that Monday. He was 9 weeks old exactly and the vet's office weighed him at 2.5 lbs. There are about 2 other people at my work who have yorkies, and they cringe and tell me that he's a porker when I tell them how much he weighs.
He is my first yorkie, so i don't know what to think. The breeders that I bought him off of said that he would probably be about 5-6 lbs, while my vet told me maybe even 8 or 9lbs. I hope that he stays about he 5-6lbs, but I will love him regardless. It's just been bothering me not knowing what to expect. Do you think that he's going to be a large yorkie? |
