Yes, I say if you are not comfortable with them anymore than change!!!
I took my cats to the same vet for years! It was an animal shelter/hospital, so not only were things a little cheaper than at other vets, but all the profit went back into the shelter! I really liked it there for years- all the vets really knew what they were doing, and I got wonderful service! Then they got a new owner. I kept going because I wanted to support the animal shelter, and they knew my little kitties soooo well! But slowly they started to degrade; most of the vets left so new doctors came, the place got dirty, and more expensive. My last straw was when my ex-husband (behind my back, against my wishes!) took my babies to be declawed. The younger cat had to stay at the vets for an extra week, because they screwed up his paws so badly! Even after we took him home, he kept bleeding and couldn't even walk! He was in so much pain that when I went to pick him up, discovered that he had chewed his legs until they were bleeding severely- and they were supposed to be "monitoring" him!!!!! I was so angry; I should have changed vets when I first felt leary of them! Now I'm taking Paddington to a very reputable vet in the area. Everyone I know goes to them, and even though they are slightly more expensive I am willing to pay when it comes to the safety of my baby!!!!
