But how old was Miko and how much did he weigh when he was diagnosed? Did he have symptoms as a puppy? Winston did not, this came on as an adult, 2 years old and at that time 7 pounds. He never had even a single episode of hypoglycemia as a puppy, I had never even heard of Nutri-Cal until he had his 2nd seizure at the vets office, his blood sugar at the time was in the 30's, the vet thought it was from eating a "toadstool/mushroom" out in the yard, which can cause hypoglycemia. I took him back weekly for what she called liver test...they all came back within normal limits. This was before I knew of YT and really didn't know to ask if it was a "bile acid test" or any numbers. So now I know, and I will ask the right questions. He hasn't had a seizure since March 8th...and I know he hasn't eaten anything wrong.
