When I used to work for a veterinarian, we used Prozyme. As animals get older, they may not be able to digest their food properly and not get the the nutrients out of the food as they once did when they were younger. It is a powdery substance that you sprinkle on their food. We had a lot of sucess with it. Ask your veterinarian what he/she thinks about that. As mentioned before, Nutrical is also very beneficial.
