Thank you too for the helpful information, I agree, I do think the seizure comes first, and the sugar is merely a reaction to it. I'm going to find some type of neurologist vet, to see if I can get a confirmation on this thought. But for now I'll see my regular vet again, for routine blood work-up and exam, I'll ask her about the valium suppository, that's a good idea...I have a friend who's daughter is epileptic and she uses Ativan I believe it's similar, but she puts it sublingual instead of rectal...if the seizure is long or more violent.
