Hi, Snoot is a Pekingese. I just shaved him for summer because he gets so hot and is always miserable. He usually has a full fluffy coat. Snoot is about 15 lbs. He used to always weigh about 10 until he started getting older. I think the average size for a pekingese runs between 10-15 lbs. I got him when I was 14 years old and now I'm about to turn 26
He's a wonderful little guy. These past 12 years with him have been great!! He still acts like a puppy and plays with the girls all the time. You would never think he was 12 yrs. old. I've been very lucky with him. He actually came from a pet store. Back then we had no idea had bad pet stores could be. He's been extremely healthy and has only had to go to the vet for the normal shots and to be neutered. Pekingeses can be hard to find and solid cream colored ones are even harder. I'm sorry I don't know of any breeders for you. I actually would like to get another pekingese myself, so if I hear of any good breeders I will be sure to let you know. Do a search online about them. They are quite comical little dogs.
