How my heart is breaking for you. I too have lost my beloved Jewel just after she turned 3. Like Lexxi, watching your baby's health decline, the seizures, walking in circles and staying up with her throughout the night is something Dan and I are very familiar with.
We couldn't bring ourselves to give her the relief you gave to Lexxi. In looking back, I many times wonder if I did the right thing.
What you and Ray did for Lexxi is the greatest gift of Love you have shown her and I know she loves you so much and appreciates your decision to set her free from her body that just didn't work.
I don't understand why they were taken from us so quickly. I do know, they were placed in our care because God knew we can give these babies the love they may have otherwise not gotten. God chose us to be their gardian knowing he was going to take them back in a short time. He knew we would not give up on them and that we have the strength to do what's right.
You and Ray were chosen to care for Lexxi and you gave her the ultimate gift of love.
