For the past couple of days, Hobbs has been pooping more frequently and it is a little looser than normal...not soft or runny or diarrhea-like, just a little loose. Sometimes he wants to go out and I let him out and he squats to poop and nothing comes out. Last night he squatted and clear liquid came out but it smelt like water, not like poop. Today he pooped in the house (which he NEVER EVER does) and there was some gel-like blood in it. He is otherwise playing/eating/drinking normally. I have fed him canned pumpkin for 2 days with his food and it didn't really help much. Do you think there is something seriously wrong with him or do you think his colon is just irritated or something and it'll pass? My vet isn't open again until Tuesday. The very LAST thing I want to do is spend a fortune at the emergency vet this weekend. Any ideas??
