Just some information: I worked in a kennel at a Vet before, and lets just say I was only there for two days. The dogs being boarded got let out twice a day and that was while someone was cleaning their cage. We'd take them outside for a small walk around the parking lot and when the person was done cleaning they would put the dog back. That was about all the exposure the dogs had unless they got groomed. I couldn't handle hearing them crying in the cages let alone cleaning them, so I quit.
Not all vets are like this, but the one I worked for is well known and considered "prestigious". I would ask them questions about their daily routines to see if it's right for your dog. Good Luck!
