I don't have a yorkie yet...but i do want to get one. I want a boy, and I already have a name picked out, Vince (he will be my baby, as i will not be having children.) I think I am going to wait until this semester finishes because I know I will be super busy studying. anyways i really don't know how to go about looking for reputable breeders. i live in Texas, around Corpus Christi, and there are not very many people out here who breed them. I did contact one women in the Corpus area (I got her ad off the akc website) but she has yet to contact me.

so where do i go to get one? i really have had time to research this since i am out of school for the summer. i really can't drive so I cannot visit many cities where some breeders may be located...my only option was to have one shipped...i did find some puppies from puppyfind.com...but i don't know cause even though they have a website and show you pics...thats not the same thing as actually seeing where they were raised.

if anyone has any advice on what i should do please let me know...thank you
