During the ceremony tonight, each graduate (all 30 of them) picked up a long stemmed rose and walked out to the audience and gave it to their mom. Talk about tears everywhere! It was to thank their parents for all they had sacrificed and stuff through all the years.
Then we (family) went out to eat and had a fun time. We just did that instead of an open house. It worked out great.
Ok, I will take my sadness up the stairs and go bed with my pups. Maybe I'll try Brea out of the crate for the first time ever at night. Think she'll pee on my bed? We'll have to see.
I love it when I come in - even if it is just from another room and I've only been gone a few minutes - and all four of them are just sitting there waiting for me.  Such innocent little faces
just waiting for mom. It a warm fuzzy for me. Of course we KNOW they really aren't innocent at all!!!!  Little troublemakers....  Geez, like they had to prove it - they are all running circles chasing each other and barking like little fools. Round and round the couch they go... when they'll stop, nobody knows........ |
Aww, I'm sorry no one was here for you last night. Such a sweet story about graduation, and I can imagine the bittersweet way you must be feeling right now. Change, while often good, can be really hard.
