Maxwell has had his on since I got him at 12 weeks; he scratched at it for 10 days, now he doesn't seem to notice it. It has his tag on it. I check to make sure it's not too snug.
My Brutus (we miss him) had his harness on for 12 years, sometimes caused mats on his belly. But after his bath he always wanted this "jewelry" back on, and would not be content until we slipped it on. Maxwell, at 5 months, acts like a maniac, when we try to get it back on, but leaving it on works best for us..
Don't use collars due the the trachea collapse problem which Brutus had, but we hope Maxwell never will. |
