Maggie did that too, with Bermuda Grass--but not St. Augustine. She would sneeze several times when she came back inside the house. One morning, even her little eye had matter in it. Now, the grass doesn't bother her. I think she just had to build an immunity up. At the breeder's house, the puppies never went outside to even see grass.
