This is my first yorkie and I did not know I had to shave his ears when we first got him. He is going to be 4 months pretty soon and his ears are not up. He stands them up for a moment & then he takes them back down. Today, I tapped his ears with masking tape, but his mood has changed! He just sleeps and seems down ever since. Is that normal?? Should I just remove the tape and leave the ears alone? As soon as I found out I started shaving them, but He only stands them up when he wants and only for a brief moment. I touch his ears and they have a hard line at the very half that bends the ears down. When I massage the ears, it goes away, but i think it weights down on him, right?
