My family used to have cockers. I had two, both boys, my nana had two and cousins who lived near us had 4. They were all boys and seriously all pigs.

They just loved dirt and usually tried to hump stuff. Also, they were really hyper. When my last cocker died, I swore to never get another cocker or boy dog as long as I live. I wanted a girl and had a bond when I got Vickie, so it was a match. She's friendly, calm, loving, sweet, and a great dog. She's not really into dirt and humping (and she will get spayed) so I feel I got rid of the boy qualities that personally bugged me. I'm calm person and feel boy animals, even cats, are too hyper for me.
