We screen our adoptive homes too, and I'm sure it has happened when we've denied adoption to someone who has applied. I've adopted yorkies to folks with children so I don't know that would automatically disqualify someone.
Of course, yorkied that have been abused would never be given to a home with kids.
Maybe we can get some extra volunteers for our group? You don't have to foster, we have other ways to help.

Yes, I would absolutely love to help, but I have a 5 year old who's coming home tomorrow, so hands-on with a yorkie is probably not right for us. Especially the ones in rescues that don't need to be exposed to a 5 year old's torture

Otherwise, I need to get some other stuff tied up, and when I get some time, yes I definitely want to do something to help out. But we gotta do things like get our house back, move home, etc.
