I have the Canon Rebel XT -- I love it for the most part too. I still have not learned all that I need to get good pictures. The biggest reason I bought it was to photograph my son playing sports. I can't seem to take good action shots at night (football). The experts are telling me I need a faster telephoto lens -- which costs way more than the camera did! I see the xti has more megapixels. You should have a lot of fun with it! I have taken some awesome pictures with mine! Keep wondering what it could do if I really knew what I was doing.
