PS - I forgot, during the 3 years of the chronic stones Chip had - he was on all kinds of medications and special diets per the vet. The vet will tell you what kind of food to buy or what you can make yourself. I am sure Chip would have responded to the meds and special diet if he would have been correctly treated from the get go.

Also, be prepared to have her urine tested maybe once a month to make sure the special diet is keeping her urine either alkaline or acidic, depending on what kind of stone it turns out to be. I bought those PH strips and tested it myself - good luck getting a urine sample from you baby if testing her urnine is recommended by your vet - ask him to be sure.
