You didn't fly America West by any chance, did you? That might explain our experience: We just flew back East with Eddie, and we did not get one foot on the plane before the flight attendant snapped: "That dog needs to stay in its carrier at all times!" My wife, loaded down with two carry-ons and the dog, said "I know. I hope ..." She was going to say "I hope he's not going to be a problem," when the flight attendant leaned over to a co-worker and said "Yeah, she better hope." That just amazed us that we paid $160 round-trip to fly with our dog, we follow all the rules, and we get an attitude like that.
