Just as I see "Teacup" in ads I also see "pup will get no bigger than *". This iritates the heck out of me also. Even a tiny can get a growth spurt and get 5# or 6#. A 3# 12 wks pup can become a 3# adult...gave my sister one. How many times do we read "My pup got bigger than the breeder said it would" or "got bigger than it was supposed to". I tried the "formula" and just like I said before "Yorkies are not standard".

I agree totally with this. I am new to breeding, but am not interested in selling one of my puppies to someone who just has to have that 3 lb. dog. I want to hear that the puppy will be loved no matter how big it gets or small it stays!
