Repetition is key, do this every single day (at least the topnot with a rubberband method)
Put her on your knees tie elastic grooming band on, then put a bow on that has a barrette attached. That works best for us. On a every day basis, she wears a grooming band. Initally, she would try to get it off but eventually got used to it and now it doesn't bother her. We take it off every night so her scalp has a chance to relax (I'd hate to go to sleep with a pony tail on lol). I also sometimes put her in her down command on top of a table and fix her hair this way. |
