Tucker does this too. It happens when his throat gets dry and irritated. Its often worse at night. I give him a couple of squirts of chloraspetic to numb his throat and give him some immediate relief but the best thing is to prevent it by putting a couple drops of saline water in each nostril every night. This will drain down the back of his throat and keep it lubricated.
