When my Dad bought my 1st yorkie (Maggie), the breeder said she was 50 days old... Well, after picking her up at my Dad's house, I saw she was NO near 50 days old, and the vet estimated she was 35 days old!!! I HATED the breeder for selling such young pups...
I wanted to return her and get the money back, but then I thought better and decided to not give her back to that hatefull breeder... I kept Maggie... And now I'm proud to say she is the joy of my life, and I am so so happy for making a decision of making her part of my family...

So after all this, all I have to tell you is think well so in the future there will be no regreats...

Why would a breeder especially one that guarantees the pup sell one so much younger than they say it is? I think most vets go by the standards of ALL dogs. Yorkies are not by any means standard. They are their own breed. Their heats are not standard, their hearts are not standard and lord knows between a 2# adult and a 10# adult they are going to mature at much different speeds. I don't REALLY know the lady in person but give her a break in the age thing. I doubt she was lieing but the pup is just a TINY and seems younger. Maybe she was wrong in shipping such a tiny but that seems to be what ALL ARE WANTING. Just be glad she lived and keep on loving her.
