Smile New Puppy Feeding Advise

My Yorkie Toy (that's his actual name, lol) is 11 years old and a picky eater to the extreme. I tried all brands of dry food and he just would not eat it. I also cooked for him, but he was not getting the right nutrition and it upset his stomach more times than not, plus who has the time, really??? I had to resort to canned food, which I do not recommend because a diet solely of wet food is bad for their teeth!!! Years passed and I finally gave Royal Canin a try and voila, he eats it!!! They make dry food for a few different breeds including Yorkshire Terriers.I have to mix a little Cesars wet food in with it, or he refuses. I have a new puppy now, a 12 week baby girl name Gia and she refused Eukanuba, which what is what her breeder fed her. She smelled my older dog's food and since that day refused her Eukanuba. So I went out and got Royal Canin Puppy Small Breed for her and???? Yes, she loves it! I feed her 4 times a day still and she eats about one and a half teaspoons dry kibbles mixed with one teaspoon Cesars Puppy wet food. It all depends on how big your new puppy is. My Gia is 12 weeks old and weighs 1.5 pounds. Your puppy will show you how much it needs to eat. Allow 10 minutes to eat, keep showing her to the bowl, puppies have a short attention span and might get distracted before actually being finished. Right after feeding, take her outside to potty. Every time!
P.S. Royal Canin is being sold at Petsmart, if you have one in your area
