I'm sorry your baby has a big stone in her bladder. If it's large, the only way to get rid of it is probably through surgery. Make sure they test the stone and find out exactly what kind it is. The food that you give her will depend highly on what kind of stone it is. Was is seen on an x-ray or through ultrasound? If your vet gives you food for a struvite stone and it's actually calcium oxalate or urate, then your dog's health will suffer. Struvite stones occur in alkaline urine so urine needs to acidified by giving certain kinds of food. Calcium oxalate and ammonium urate stones occur in acidic urine and needs to be given alkalizing foods. I have more information for you for when you find out what kind it is...
Praying for your baby!!!
