I'm so sorry! It sounds like you have put a lot of thought into your new pup and were all set to give her a perfect loving home. The positive thing is that you know you will have your furbaby one day soon...if I may make a suggestion, there are lots of dogs who don't have as great a hope of finding a loving home. Maybe during your shopping spree you can pick up some items for a local animal shelter. Your kind donations might help you feel better while you wait for the next litter to be ready...knowing that you are helping out other animals in need while you wait.
It will be worth the wait and before you know it, a little puppy will have chosen you to be its mommy <3
