I feel for you as I've been in that same position. I know it's not what you want to hear but think of it this way you now have more time to research how to make everything extra perfect for your fur baby. Maybe get a book on training/tricks so you won't be learning at the same time you're trying to teach your baby? Or you could start looking into the less exciting, but very important things, such as a good vet in your area, type of food you plan on feeding your baby (and what you shouldn't feed it!), signs of health problems so you're aware if something ever seems off with your new puppy (hopefully, everything will be great!), etc.

You may not be getting your puppy right now but you WILL be getting one and it will be worth the wait!
